We’re so excited to be starting this monthly update with you — landing in your inbox every 1st of the month. It’s our way of keeping you in the loop with everything happening behind the scenes, celebrating our team, and sharing what’s coming up next in the salon.
A little life update…
Recently, our lovely beauty therapist Sophie began her maternity leave and welcomed a beautiful, healthy baby. We couldn’t be happier for her as she starts this exciting new chapter 💛
New faces at Salon Carina
While Sophie is away, we’ve welcomed two fantastic therapists to the team:
Poppy (Junior Therapist) – already proving to be amazing at massages (Sophie would be proud!)
Mollie (Experienced Therapist) – a nail art pro, ready to help you achieve your dream nails
Both Poppy and Mollie have also completed Yonka training with expert Elaine Bryant and are now fully trained in all Yonka facials. Their introductory offers are live now and available to book online — the perfect time to treat yourself!
Hannah’s bright ideas 💡
Our wonderful manager Hannah recently attended a salon conference focused on improving salons for both clients and staff. She came back full of inspiration… including the idea for this newsletter — so thank you, Hannah!
Weddings, proms & glam season 💄
Our stylists have been incredibly busy:
Katie & Annie have been creating stunning wedding and prom hair trials
Freya & Amanda have been bringing looks to life with beautiful makeup trials
We absolutely love seeing our clients’ visions come together — it’s such a special part of what we do.
A little update from Emma 🐄
Our senior stylist Emma (who we all adore!) has made a small change to her schedule and is no longer working Tuesdays. She’s gone back to her farming roots — and honestly, we love that for her! Don’t worry though, she’s still very much part of Salon Carina.
